Harmony, Vibe, and Base44 are three different things
"Wix AI website builder" no longer refers to one product. Harmony, launched January 2026, is Wix's flagship, conversational natural-language site creation combined with full drag-and-drop editing through Aria, its persistent AI agent. Vibe is a separate, headless AI site-building option with code access, aimed at users who want more technical control than Harmony's editor gives. Base44, an AI app builder Wix acquired for $80 million in June 2025, builds functional applications from prompts rather than marketing websites at all, a genuinely different category despite living under the same "Wix AI" umbrella.
What changed from the old ADI system
Wix ADI, the previous generation AI site builder, is fully deprecated, and any legacy ADI projects were automatically migrated to the standard Wix Editor. If you're reading a guide about Wix AI that still describes ADI as the current product, it's out of date. That system no longer exists as an active offering.

If you need code-level control and SEO isn't your primary concern for this particular project, Vibe's tradeoffs might be acceptable. If you're building a functional app rather than a marketing website, Base44 is solving an entirely different problem and shouldn't be evaluated against Harmony or Vibe at all.
