Who Akash Singh Is
In 2012, Akash Singh started CV Infotech from a small flat with a laptop and no external validation. His family wanted him to take a job. He worked double shifts instead — took the first client, then the next, then the one after that. By 2014, the flat had become a proper workspace with a small team of college friends who believed in the same thing. By 2016, the company had outgrown every space it occupied. They moved into a garage because growth demanded it. Not comfort. Space.
That same year he met Ekta Singh Sikarwar. Same vision, same standards, same drive. She became his co-founder and the company's partner. They moved into their first real office in Gurgaon in 2018. Then COVID came. CV Infotech paid every employee's full salary through two years of remote work. Team members who depended solely on the company received personal financial support. Not because it was easy. Because the people who show up for you deserve the same in return.
In 2021 the company registered as a Private Limited entity. That year, Francisco Escobar had already been a client for nine years. Ekta became CEO. A Noida office opened alongside Gurgaon. In 2025, Akash and Ekta opened an office in the United States. From a flat in 2012 to two Indian offices and a US presence in 13 years — built without funding, without shortcuts, and without losing a single long-term client along the way.
He personally manages the Freelancer.com account, scopes every project, and makes the technical recommendation on the discovery call. He writes every blog post on this site from the delivery side. His approach has not changed in 14 years: honest recommendation over the larger invoice, documentation that outlasts the developer, and a team that is 100% in-house from kick-off to handover.
